Once I complete registrations and have packets done, I will send out a detailed email to everyone with important information for the event. Video Passes:
Remember - Video is only allowed in the evening with a Video Pass, photos of the performances is only allowed with a Video Pass. You can also enter the Top YouTube Video Hit contest and win a Free Pass to a 2PlySwing event.
Basically; if you have a camera and want to use it, you will need a Video Pass - they will be available when you register. The Catalina staff will ask you to remove the camera from the dance if used without a Video Pass. To avoid any issues at all at the event, again - please plan on purchasing the Video Pass when you arrive ($25)
2PlySwing will have an official video taken and posted on the 2PlySwing YouTube channel for the event.

Saturday Night Special Dancers:
2PlySwing is booking you on a group reservation with Catalin Express and you will be contacted next week once all registrations are finalized for the detailed plan to get your tickets. It's very simple - group leader will have all the tickets and pass them out at the Long Beach check-in area.
Take the boat to Avalon SAT at 2:00pm and return to Long Beach on the 12:45am boat.
I booked this boat personally in hopes that all the Southern California dancers that could not afford the full event could join us for an amazing evening of Swing Dancing in the Casino Ballroom - spread the word.
Tonight is the last chance to book the BOAT / DANCE / DINNER combo as final dinner numbers need to be submitted to the Casino Ballroom on Friday.
Final Quick Note:
I've received a few emails asking if the event is going to happen this year, that they heard it would be cancelled. I cannot tell you how frustrating that news is to hear with the amount of planning and work that has gone into this.
Please stop that rumor from continuing and spread this message to every dancer you know:
I am commited to offering you this unique opportunity for many years to come. I am passionate about providing the chance to dance at the Casino Ballroom every November and the Balboa Pavilion every April. I cancelled Catalina last year in June to fully support Frankie95 as I am a firm beleiver in supporting the entire dance community and did not want people to choose between F95 and Catalina.
