Portland Swing Dance Club

This one’s for the girls. Join us in June for ladies styling, movement, and technique workshops with champion Patty Vo! Learn to blend expressions of creative dance into smooth WCS to create a combustible fusion of edgy dancing! We will be covering core movements, technique for your feet, flavoring your triples, and more… Leaders find out what “her” perspective in leading consists of and redirection of control patterns.

About Patty Vo

Patty Vo is considered one of the top female West Coast Swing Dancers on the scene. She travels internationally, teaching, competing, performing, coaching, and judging at dance events across the globe. Patty’s backgrounds consist of Ballroom, Latin, Swing, Jazz, Ballet and Country. Through her versatility she is able to mesh her unique styles of dance to create a look of her own. Most recently she and her partner Barry Jones placed first at Liberty Swing, Dallas Dance, Tampa Bay Classics, second at Grand Nationals, second at ACC Nationals, third at the 2009 US Open Swing Dance Championship Showcase Division. Not to mention other top placements in Jack & Jills, and Strictly Swing at West Coast Swing & Country events throughout the past years.
